I was born in Glendale, California in 1959, and after high school I studied electronics at the College of San Mateo and business at Cuesta College. Harnessing the skills I learned, my father Dick and I co-founded Coast Electronics, a Radio Shack Dealer, in Morro Bay, 1978. There, I met my amazing wife Christine, with whom we have five successful adult children and three grandchildren. Since planting roots in Morro Bay, my exceptional staff has helped me grow Coast Electronics from a local business to a regional business, with branches in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. As a proud member of the Rotary Club of Morro Bay, I have served in many roles including Club President and District Governor, managing 80 Rotary Clubs in Kern, SLO, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties with 3,500 members. Being in business for over forty years, I’ve learned a thing or two about money management and the necessity of keeping a balanced budget. Encouraged by other civic leaders, I first ran for Mayor in 2018, coming within less than 200 votes of winning. Now, I’m running a second time, because I believe the people of Morro Bay want leaders that are accountable, solve problems, and listen. I’m running to clean up Morro Bay, and lead a city that works for everyone, with great services, a clean environment, and a vibrant economy. Join me!
